The short version- Road test fees are not refundable. Need a new date? Contact us ahead of time.
- Driving lessons: change or cancel at least 24 hours ahead. Changes made later have a $25 late-change fee.
- Courses: you have 365 days to finish. Once any part is done, the course cannot be refunded.
- Paid for a course but not started? You get back what you paid, minus an administrative fee of up to $50.
We work hard to get you ready, but no school can promise a pass. Every road test is scored under Texas DPS rules (37 Tex. Admin. Code §15.56).
Road tests
- The road test fee is non-refundable.
- Please bring every required document on test day.
- For questions or a new date, contact us in advance by phone or email.
The road test fee is not refunded in any case, including when:
- You miss your appointment without notice.
- Required documents are not provided.
- Your vehicle fails the pre-test inspection.
- You arrive late for your appointment.
Driving lessons
- Booking a lesson reserves a car and an instructor just for you.
- To change or cancel, call or email us at least 24 hours before your lesson.
- A $25 late-change fee applies to lesson changes or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
Courses
- You have 365 calendar days from the date you buy a course to finish it.
- Once any part is completed, or the DE-964 certificate (the teen driver ed certificate) is issued, the course counts as partly finished and can no longer be refunded.
- If all requirements are not met within 365 days, the DE-964 certificate will not be issued.
- Refunds are not issued after the 365-day deadline, no matter how much is done.
- We do not send reminders about expiration dates or course access, so please keep track of your own deadline.
Tuition paid before a course starts
If you paid tuition and the course has not started, or you withdraw before starting, we may keep up to $50 as an administrative fee. We refund the rest for instruction you did not receive.
When you get a full refund
- The student is not admitted to the program.
- The academy cancels the course.
- Enrollment was based on false or misleading information.
How refunds are paid
All eligible refunds are paid within 30 days of formal withdrawal or termination.
