The course you need depends on how old you are. Teens take a 24-hour online course and 14 hours in the car, adults 18 to 24 take a 6-hour course, and drivers 25 and older can go straight to lessons and the road test. If you searched for drivers ed near me in Arlington, this page shows every option we teach, with prices.

Find the line that sounds like you. Each one says what Texas asks for, what we offer, and the next step. If you are still unsure, call us. We will point you to one course, not three.
What Texas asks for: Texas asks teens to finish a 24-hour course (the classroom part, taken online) and 14 hours in the car with an instructor or an eligible parent.
Our option: Start with our $99 online course, which includes the permit test. Or choose the $530 Full Package: the same online course plus 14 hours behind the wheel with us and your DE-964 certificate (the teen driver ed certificate).
See teen drivers edWhat Texas asks for: If the online course is done and your teen has a learner license, the next step is 14 hours in the car: 7 hours driving and 7 hours watching another student drive.
Our option: Book Teen Behind the Wheel for $440. After 6 months with the permit and the Impact Texas Teen Drivers course, your teen can take the road test here from $75.
See the teen pathWhat Texas asks for: In parent-taught drivers ed, an eligible parent or guardian teaches the in-car hours and your teen takes the classroom part online.
Our option: Our $109 Teen Self-Taught course includes the 24-hour online course, the permit test (included in the online course), a downloadable DE-964 certificate and progress tracking. The road test is booked separately.
Parent Taught GuideWhat Texas asks for: Texas requires a 6-hour adult driver education course before your road test. The course final exam can count as your DPS knowledge test, and you do not have to wait 6 months with a permit.
Our option: Take our 6-hour course for $75 to get your ADE-1317 certificate (the adult course certificate). You also need the Impact Texas Drivers course, which you can buy from us for $30.
See the 6-hour courseWhat Texas asks for: No course is required at 25 and older. You need a learner license, the Impact Texas Drivers course and the road test. If you take the optional 6-hour course, its final exam can count as your DPS knowledge test.
Our option: Most of the work is practice. Private lessons are $70 each, minimum 2, in our dual-control car.
See adult lessonsWhat Texas asks for: If your license is from another country, you will usually take the Texas knowledge test and the road test.
Our option: A couple of lessons help you learn Texas road rules and the way the test is scored. You can take the road test in our car for $100.
See the road testWhat Texas asks for: No course is required. From age 79, you renew your license in person with a vision test, every 6 years from 79 to 84 and every 2 years from 85.
Our option: A 90-minute private lesson is $120, in our car, on roads you choose.
