Services for Euless families

Three reasons Euless drivers make the trip.

01

Teen behind the wheel

The 14 in-car hours Texas requires: 7 driving and 7 observing, with a certified instructor in a dual-control Toyota Corolla. $440, or $530 as the full package with the 24-hour online course (permit test included) and the DE-964 certificate.

02

The official road test

A third party road test scored on the DPS sheet. Bring your car for $75 or use ours for $100. Want a warm-up first? The 1-hour lesson plus test is $175.

03

Adult 6-hour course

First-time drivers 18 to 24 need it before the road test. It is online, TDLR-approved and $75, and the ADE-1317 certificate is what you bring on test day.

H-E-B ISD teen timeline

A Euless teen’s road to a license, by age.

Trinity High School and L.D. Bell High School students follow the same Texas steps. Here is when each one happens.

Age 14

Start the online course

The TDLR-approved 24-hour course ($99) can start at 14. The online course can be done at home in the evenings.

Age 15

Learner license

After the first 6 hours of the course, your teen passes the knowledge test (30 questions, 21 correct) and gets the learner license at DPS.

15 to 16

In-car hours

14 hours with us, plus 30 logged hours with a parent, 10 of them at night. Euless neighborhood streets and TX-121 make good practice routes.

Age 16+

Road test

Once the permit has been held 6 months and Impact Texas Teen Drivers is done within 90 days, test here on any day, Saturdays included.

For Euless parents

Making the 30 practice hours count at home.

Texas asks for 30 hours of driving with a parent, 10 of them at night. Here is a simple order that builds confidence without rushing.

First: an empty parking lot on a weekend morning. Starting, stopping smoothly, tight turns and backing in a straight line.

Next: quiet Euless neighborhood streets. Stop signs, right of way, and checking mirrors before every turn.

After that: busier roads like Glade Road and Pipeline Road, then short trips on TX-121 or TX-183 when your teen feels steady. Night hours come last, on roads your teen already knows.

If backing or parallel parking still feels shaky, one private lesson ($70) or a $50 practice road test shows exactly where points are lost.

Fails the drive
More than 30 points off on-street
Fails backing
More than 5 points off
Fails parallel parking
More than 7 points off
Ends the test
A wheel over the curb or onto a sidewalk, contact, or a traffic violation

Scoring limits from 37 Tex. Admin. Code §15.56. After passing, your teen gets the license card at a DPS office; the Hurst driver license office is the closest one to Euless.

Questions, answered

Euless driving school questions.

Still have a question?(469) 550-1743Call us now
Can Euless drivers take the DPS authorized road test with you?
Yes. Our Arlington academy is a DPS-authorized third party test site about 20 minutes south of Euless on TX-360. You get the same official Texas road test, seven days a week, from $75 with your car or $100 with ours.
When can my Trinity or L.D. Bell student start behind-the-wheel lessons?
After the learner license. Your teen finishes the first 6 hours of the 24-hour course, passes the knowledge test and gets the learner license at DPS. In-car lessons can then run alongside the rest of the course.
Do you pick up students in Euless?
Our pickup area ends at the Arlington city line, so it does not reach Euless. Drop your teen at 1030 W Arkansas Ln, Suite 307, and the lesson starts right there.
Can my teen take the road test on a Saturday?
Yes. Road tests run seven days a week by appointment, and a Saturday slot means nobody misses school or work.
Where does my teen get the license card after passing?
At a Texas DPS driver license office. The Hurst driver license office is the closest one to Euless. Book that visit on the DPS scheduler and bring the passing results.
What does a Euless teen need on road test day?
The DE-964 certificate, a learner license held at least 6 months, an Impact Texas Teen Drivers certificate dated within 90 days, a VOE form, and proof of insurance and registration if you bring your own car.
Drivers ed Euless TX: what are my options?
Teens can take our TDLR-approved 24-hour online course for $99 at home, then do the 14 in-car hours and the DPS road test with us in Arlington. The $530 Full Package includes the online course, 14 hours behind the wheel and the DE-964. Pickup is for Arlington addresses only, so Euless students meet us at the office. Online checkout adds a $1 booking fee and a card processing fee.
